Dear Families,

This has been a tough couple days for the staff at GES as we mourn the death of Mrs. Stoner, or "Miss Stacey" as many of our students and families knew her.

I know that many of our families have children that had Ms. Stacey as a teacher and the grieving  process will be ongoing for our students and staff. Over the next couple of weeks and beyond, we will have counselors available to talk to our students and staff as needed.

During the next few days, we are making arrangements for a transition in Ms. Stacey's room in terms of staff replacement. While we can never replace Mrs. Stoner, we are confident that we can provide our kids with a caring, loving teacher who will do a great job in this difficult situation. For the remainder of the school year, Mrs. St. Meyer's will be the classroom teacher. Mrs. St. Meyer's is moving from the aide position to the lead teacher role. We feel this would be the easiest, most comfortable, and supporting transition for our students.

On behalf of the Graham Staff, we would like to thank the Graham family for their support and condolences.

If you would like to support the family, you can make a contribution to the Stacey Stoner Trust fund at any International Harvester Credit Union in lieu of flowers or cards.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Miller or Mr. Dillon.

Sincerely,

Mr. Miller
